WEB HOSTING and DOMAIN REGISTRATION FOR OUR MEMBERS: We have a special rate for registering a domain name through Bare Metal web hosting in Victoria, B.C., Canada. You can register a domain name and "frameset" the page to www.boundaryartisan.ca/your artisan name.html (for example I will have frameset www.boundaryartisans.ca/Joybilee Farm.html) There is a small annual fee to maintain your domain name, but the web hosting is free. You will receive 5 email accounts that will forward to your personal email, if you register your domain through this option. I will need to upload your page and make any changes that you require. The cost for this service is covered by your annual membership fee of $25 -- Its a great deal! Alternatively, Baremetal can host your webpage on their dns server -- cost is $30 per year plus the cost of your domain registration -- a very good rate. If you register your name through Bare Metal you will receive 5 email accounts as well, for free. If you chose this option you will be able to build your own website (see our BAA web building workshops for help in this.) I will put a link on the BAA website to your personal website and you will make all changes to your own website--giving you complete control. "Magnus Opus -- Great Works by the Members of the Boundary Artisan Association" a show at the Grand Forks Art Gallery May 21 to August 6, 2011. This is a place to showcase your very best artisan work. Each BAA member in good standing, will have an opportunity to place 2 pieces in this show and let our community feast on the best that the Boundary has to offer in artist and artisan work. This show takes place during the summer and is a preview of the work that will be on display for the BAA 2011 Studio Tour on August 13, 2011.
